What Warda does
A built-in list blocks advertising, trackers, malware and phishing as soon as Warda is installed. Nothing to configure, nothing to import.
Warda watches the requests of your network and suggests what to block, with its context: which device, just after what. It never blocks on its own.
One profile per person, adapted to their age, with safe search for everyone. Children and teenagers are protected; adults stay free.
Three steps
Warda runs on a small box of your home (a Raspberry Pi, a virtual machine or Docker) and answers the DNS requests of every device. Your router hands its address to the network; from then on, each request goes through Warda before reaching the Internet.
Install Warda: a ready image for the Raspberry Pi, a Docker image or a Debian package.
The assistant detects your router and your network, and asks you to confirm.
Your devices are protected, and Warda starts learning.
The dashboard
Each suggestion comes with its context: the device, the time, the request that came just before. Nothing is blocked without you.
Try it: block or ignore a suggestion.
17 %Made for the family
One card per person, with their devices, and profiles adapted to their age. Children become teenagers at 15 and adults at 18, automatically.
Safe search on. Adult content, gambling and social networks blocked.
Alert yesterday at 22:14: attempt to go around the filter with a VPN.
Advertising and tracking blocked. Adults are never watched.
Privacy
Warda works at home: the history of your requests never leaves your network. Its code is open (AGPLv3), and the requests sent to the Internet are encrypted by default.
